Race Entry Fees

NO TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER ON RACE DAY

Pre-Race Entry Fees
All children participating in the Kids Fun Run MUST complete an entry. Registration for the Kids Fun Run does not include a t-shirt, but are available for an additional $5 if entered before September 15. Onsite entries for any event are not guaranteed that t-shirts will be available. Adult sizes available only.

Mail-in registration must be postmarked by Wednesday, September 15, 2011. Online registration will close at midnight on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Individual participants may register the day of the race. No teams will be allowed to register the day of the event.

.Race Day Entry
Race day entry will be available beginning at 7:00am at Hotel indigo. NO team registration day of race. Those who register on race day will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. The entry fee for the 15K Run is $30, and $20 for the 5K Run or Walk. Parents or legal guardians must sign a waiver/release for all children under 18 years of age.

Registration Details

  • Each racer should complete an entry form (one form per person).
  • Each racer must sign a waiver/release to participate.
  • Team entries sent by mail: the envelope MUST contain a completed entry form for each team member and ONE check for the ENTIRE amount. If not, entire entry(s) forms/fee(s) WILL BE RETURNED and you WILL NOT be entered in the event.
  • All pre-race entrants will receive a t-shirt.
  • For those who enter online, please print and keep your email confirmation. This will serve as your proof of entry and for use when picking up racer packets.  Mail-in entries will receive a postcard in the mail confirming receipt of your entry fees.
  • For those who enter online, a charge will appear on your credit card statement from signmeup.com.
  • Information provided on the entry form will be used by the Mill Race Race committee for purposes of informing you of race related events and updates. We encourage you to include an email address.
  • Wheelchair racers must wear helmets at all times and stay to the right side of the road. Hand crank chairs are not eligible for entry.

.5K Run or Walk Team Challenge
Have fun with family, friends, or co-workers while you run the race. Consider entering as a team!

Forming a team:

  • is an opportunity to join with others to make a difference in the health and lives of all Bartholomew County residents;
  • is a fun way to promote a healthy lifestyle;
  • the team with the fastest time will hold the trophies for the next year and will have earned bragging rights as the Team Challenge Champions.
  • creates a support system to encourage and celebrate your achievement; is a great way to get family, friends, and co-workers together, have fun, socialize, and compete!

Team Tips:

  • Run and Walk teams will be judged separately.
  • Teams must be entered by September 15. There will be NO late or race day entries for teams.
  • A minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 racers may compete as a team.
  • Each team must have a team name and captain.
  • Team entries MUST be submitted together. Submit all entries in the same envelope or click here to register a team online.
  • T-shirts are included with team registrations.
  • Racers may only compete on only ONE team.
  • Teams may be comprised of family, friends, and co-workers.

The three fastest individual finish times will be compiled for the team finish time. Individual times will be adjusted for gender and age. Awards will be given to the top three teams in each division based on these adjusted times.

The winning RUN team will receive the Mill Race Trophy and the winning WALK team will receive the Mayor's Trophy. Team members also will be scored to qualify for individual awards, and be entered for door prize drawings.
