Volunteer Information   Any race can only be successful with the help of numerous individuals helping in large and small ways. Due largely due to the help of dedicated volunteers, the Mill Race Race has grown and become the biggest road race in Bartholomew County. There are a wide variety of responsibilities – whether you want to help behind the scenes, or come out on September 26 & 27 to work during an event. Regardless of what you’d like to do, we greatly appreciate the time and effort put forth by all volunteers.

Race Operations
Of the individuals who assist with the event, a core group works year round to plan all of the events and activities.

Listed below are the “overall” responsibilities that we would appreciate help with. Please consider accepting a leadership role at any level or agree to be part of a committee.

This committee, under the guidance of the Race Director, is responsible for putting on the races. Members focus on the safety and well-being of every participant and have the responsibility of all aspects of planning, organizing and managing the races – from start to finish.
